Life hacking refers to any trick, shortcut, skill, or novelty method that increases productivity and efficiency, in all walks of life.

 

Goal setting (Part 1)

 

Seldom people set a GOALS or target in their life..what is the direction the wanted to follow or road map towards success.

 We were never taught this in school, so you may not know how. If you don’t believe in it, it’s probably because you’ve tried and failed many times.

But I believe you feel stuck or want to achieve more in life, goal setting can benefit you. It’ll give you something to aim for instead of wandering through life. It’ll weed out the not so important goals with the ones that really matter.

Please do some research ie towards your career or ambitions that you want to achieve.

From there  you should do a "Mind Maps" to help to you get a clearer pictures steps by steps.

The Reason most people never reach their goals is that because they don't define them or not seriously think its important to set a Goals or Target in life.

 You can set your Goal for  :

Long Term - 5 - 10 years or more

Mid Term - 3 - 5 years

Short Term -  1 year or less

So if you want to become a winner in life please set your Goal...

Project Management

A few weeks ago i gave a talk on Project Management. I foresee some of the student doesn't really understand that Project Management can be use in any events whether in our jobs and daily activities.
I told them everything will related to Time, Money and People ...so eventually when you are good at project management you shall have a better pay and maybe a happier life also.

Anyway just some tips for the project manager , try to create a "Survival Kit" if you have a problems trying to give instruction to the team members where you have multiple team leaders and many sites to cover...at least it will give a standardization and the quality of works delivered will be the same..

and try to create a reward program to give them a motivation to deliver the project smoothly and successfully...

Make sure to give "instant rewards and appreciation" if its happened the team have done a a great jobs within the timeline and budget.

dilema practical students

I personally have gone thru thousand of resume from the students  and i saw the same mistakes done by them.
Some students feel that industrial training ni tak penting. Some of them i believe thinks that practical ni macam 'honey moon' period for them. Paling best kalau boleh nak practical betul-betul kat sebelah rumah.. Actually  this is the moment where you can apply apa yang diajar masa kat kolej.

Some of the mistake i found:
1. Resume copy and paste..ni selalunya satu geng yang memang kamcing masa study so resume pun nak copy paste, not sure about others things like assignment ( for sure copy paste gak).. takan la hobi pun sama kan ...sorang tu tulis i like sleeping ..end up the whole geng pun copy benda yg sama.So please create your own identiti.
2. Typo error .... memang common problems sangat ..yelah nak practical kan tak penting pun agaknya ...takan majikan nak rejectkan...actually if i were the employer this is number one mistake yang i will find for shortlisting..dah tahu dah the quality of staff yang kita akan dapat...resume 1 tahun sekali pun payah nak double check for spelling error ...MR googlekan ada..
3. Resume standard ,tak creative ...zaman Tuanku Abd Rahman punya format..creative la sikit ..letak la gambar yang paling handsome that you have...sekarang semua ada smart phone ...tangkap le Pic sampai hensem .
Kalau nak Listkan common error memang banyak sangat.. just for the fresh graduate out there please makeover your resume , bukan selalu sangat pun kena buat i believe setahun sekali maybe..
 

Communication skill

I always believe communication skill is the most important asset for you to survive.
Today i share with my students about communication skill and how important it was to speak up and increase the value of yourself by communicating with others .

But some how many fresh graduate now days doesn't take this seriously , they believe with a "paper" they can get good salary and jobs. ..heeemmm.. better think twice because statistic doesn't show us that way...so please buckle up and start to communicate properly... trust me it will increase your value.

Helping Others Like Helping Yourself..

In life the most important question we need to ask is "What contributions we have made in our Life to help others ....
Never get tired of doing little things for others. Sometimes those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts....

In Life i always  bump into people  asking "What's in it for me??" although for a small favor... Sometime i always ask where is the"Sincerity " we have when we were kids, what happened to the small heart??? Was it the culture that changed us? or peoples are blind of MONEY??

life is a JOURNEY

Life is a journey ..do not look back and grieve over the past, for its gone. Live in the present and make it so beautiful that it will worth looking back at....
